Madrid, Spain – July 20, 2024 – ALOHA Canada proudly announced its remarkable success at the ALOHA International Competition 2024, held in the vibrant city of Madrid, Spain, on July 20th. Competing among 700 students from over 20 countries, Team Canada emerged as a powerful force, securing two prestigious Grand Champion trophies—a proud moment not just for the students but for the entire nation.

The spotlight shone brightly on Kreev Shah and Ali Ahmeid, who claimed the Grand Champion titles, showcasing exceptional mental arithmetic skills, focus, and confidence on the international platform.

Additionally, Shreyoshi Bairagi and Faiza Mehmood achieved the 1st Runner-Up positions, while Rajorshi Bairagi secured the 2nd Runner-Up title, contributing to Canada’s exceptional performance.

The majority of the Canadian participants represented the ALOHA Fort McMurray Center, a hub of young talent and dedication. Their outstanding results are a testament to the hard work of students, trainers, and parents alike.

“This event was the perfect opportunity to showcase Canadian talent on a global stage while fostering international connections,” said Ms. Ruchi Pachauri, Director of ALOHA Canada, who led the delegation and met with esteemed international figures including Mr. Loh Mun Sung and Mr. & Mrs. Motwani. “It was truly a wonderful experience and journey of learning, growth, and celebration.”
